2011 Note: In 2003, we didn't do a big summer trip, unlike some of the other years you can read about here. 2003 was also the summer before I went to law school, so we had upcoming things on our mind. What we did do was have a couple of great short trips -- first on our own to Baltimore (featuring a divine 2 hour lunch by the water at Inner Harbor), and then to DC, featuring a cool White House experience thanks to Allison Boyd Travis, a law school friend of Christine's.
